New for 2012, Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars has decided to release a Limited Edition run of cigars in the Monster series called “Little Monsters”. The Little Monsters will contain 4 smaller versions of previous Monster releases along with a smaller version of this years Monster release. Included in this 10 count box are:

2 Mini Mum(5 3/4 x 42)
2 Wolfie(5 1/2 x 48)
2 Baby Face(4 3/8 x 50)
2 Lil’ Drac(5 x 48)
2 Frank Jr(5 5/8 x 44)

These are based on the blends of the highly sought after Monster Series that are traditionally released at Halloween every year. These cigars will be available in June and will be available in 10 count boxes and 5 packs containing one of each of the five different cigars. Now available from Emerson’s Cigars, and exclusively for the Tobacconist’s Association of America shops, is the limited edition La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Maduro Torpedo. The size is a 6 1/4 by 54 torpedo, and is the same blend as the regular Air Bender with a maduro wrapper. Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana has only created one Air Bender Maduro in the line previously, which were packaged in 20 count boxes inside of a minature tobacco barn humidor. This latest offering is available in 5 pack as well as 20 count boxes through our website and will be in stores very soon. Pricing is at $10 per cigar and $180 for the 20 count box. We would like to thank everyone for coming out last night to the Partagas 1845 Launch Event at our Hilltop location. The weather was picture perfect for sitting out on the patio and enjoying a great cigar! Special thanks to Frank, Sharon and Dan from General Cigars for coming out and taking the time to tell everyone all about the new Partagas 1845 cigar. If you haven’t tried the Partagas 1845 yet, I would recommend picking it up and giving it a smoke. This is a departure from the traditional Partagas with the use of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a Connecticut Habano binder that is exclusive to General Cigars. The result is a cigar that is full of flavor while still maintaining a medium strength, definitely a cigar worth trying!

Special thanks to Kimber Bell from Rocky Patel Cigars and the man himself, Rocky Patel, for a great event last night at our Hampton Emerson’s Cigars location. Everyone not only enjoyed their cigars, but also the opportunity to rub elbows with one of the biggest names in the cigar industry! This past Saturday, we launched our first event in our Pipe Shows series and featured Peterson Pipes.  This was an all day event at our Greenbrier location and was free to attend.  Many folks stopped in to sample some of the new pipe tobaccos we had to offer and to see the selection of over 100 Peterson Pipes.  Just about any style of pipe you can image was available icluding the Mark Twain and Sherlock Holmes collections.  On hand to answer questions and great everyone were Alec from Ashton and Emerson’s Cigars legend Chad Chadbourn.  The aromatic smell of pipe tobacco filled the shop and we couldn’t have asked for a better day weather-wise for an event.  Thanks to all that made it out and stay tuned for more details of our next pipe event featuring Nording Pipes in August.  Enjoy the pictures!
